Turquoise Chandelier

Another card for Fat Cats Card Corner using the Graceful Chandelier die by Memory Box.

This one instead of using the die cut out, I have used the negative part left. I have done this with the chandelier and the sentiment.

I have put some silver mirror paper behind both and also edged the embossed middle section with some as well.  I have put some silver gems onto the chandelier to 'bling' it up slightly.  The embossed portion behind the chandelier and sentiment is the Craft Concepts Brocade embossing folder.  For the border on each side, I have used the Cheery Lyn Cuties #2 die.
Finally a  bow done with some sparkly organza ribbon.

Elegant Chandelier

I seem to have a thing about chandeliers, so I was thrilled when I got sent the Memory Box Graceful Chandelier die 98493 from Fat Cats Card Corner to do some cards with it.

This is the first one I have done.

I have kept it simple with some cream and black designer paper that I had, and I sponged some Tim Holtz distress ink Antique Linen, around the edges.  I cut another piece of cream and cut the edge with the Martha Stewart Doily border punch and then backed it with some black paper that was also punched with the border punch.  I tied a black organza ribbon around this.  I glued the chandelier die cut, onto the cream and then finally put a strip of black gems from the top of the chandelier onto the designer paper to the top.

Apricot Doily

Here is a quick card I made with the Stampin Up 'Hello Doily' stamp, which I absolutely love.
I haven't had a lot of time to play around with this one, as I have been doing some design team cards, but I did this one as I thought it might be nice for my sisters birthday in February.

I stamped the stamp with versamark and then embossed it with a white/cream embossing powder.  I then sponged some apricot Versa Color ink onto the stamp and went out to just past the stamp, which made the doily 'pop' on the page.   I put a strip of ribbon pleated onto double sided tape across the centre of the card.  I saw this technique done on a you tube video by Jannascraps.  This is the address https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usoQPdJ5m_Y
The flower I made by cutting out some layers with the silhouette cameo and put in some pearl stamens into the centre of it. Finally the sentiment is done on the computer.
