Ballerina flower

A friend of mine Angie has created this flower which she has called the ballerina flower, a fuchsia based flower, I have made a card with some of them.

I have made a background with the Anja dots emboss and cut folder by Marianne designables, and have backed it with Mauve.  The birdcage is done with the Tim Holtz die, as is the bird.  The leaves are the Martha Stewart rose leaf punch.

Anja Dots Designables Duo

Here are two cards I have made for Kaaren at Fat Cats Card Corner
In both I have used 'Anja Dots', on of the Marianne Cut and Emboss Designables folders

This one I have done one in vellum and one in white card, and then I have trimmed both at the cut part and mounted them on top of each other on a yellow card base.  I have used the fanciful Flourish by Cheery Lynn and then the flower from the Marianne Doily die.  Then some handmade flowers on top and beside this.  The sentiment is on the computer with the Memory Box Pastry Label die. Some sparkly ribbon and a couple of pearls to finish it off.

This second one I have edged it with the Martha Stewart Doily Lace border punch, and then have used the Marianne Craftables rectangle die and an image from the Joanna Sheen CDrom called 'From the Heart of the Garden' by Jane Shasky. All have been backed with a lovely bright blue.  I have used some handmade flowers to try and duplicate the flowers in the image.
