Glitter Snowflake Card

I also couldn't do a Christmas card series without a snowflake card.  I love snowflake cards, there is something very beautiful about the shapes, symmetry and the variety.
This card I have done with non-traditional colours, really it would look good with any colours, you could do it in pink, soft blue, electric blue, it would look stunning in red and white, lots of possibilities.

I have used a range of snowflake dies, there are lots out there, and arranged four of them onto a card panel that is slightly smaller than the purple glitter card piece I have to go behind it, which in turn is just slightly smaller than the card base.

I ran the dies through my Ebosser, but I made sure I left all the dies and pieces still in the dies.  I flipped it over and put glue on all the internal pieces and the circumference of the dies and card and then flipped it back over and stuck it down on to the glitter card, making sure it was centred.

Then came the tricky part,  I used my pockey tool to push through the holes of the die, to stick the little internal bits onto the glitter card, so that I just pulled off the snowflake die cut leaving all the negative pieces.  If they came away, I stuck them down using the snowflake die to align it where I could.  This was a bit fidly especially with the large die, as it is very intricate, but I managed to do it, and I think it looks beautiful!

The next thing I did was cut out a few more of the dies and then glued the die cuts onto and around the negative snowflakes to fill in the areas.

Finally a purple satin bow and a sentiment and then gluing the panel onto the card base and the card is finished.
